The PLwheel Licensing for Coaches – A Framework for Defining and Growing Product Leadership at Scale
Now available by popular demand! I’m offering licenses to my PLwheel framework—a structured self-assessment and development tool for product leaders—to other product coaches who would like to use it with their own clients.
Why license the PLwheel?
If you’re a coach working primarily with product leaders such as CPOs, Heads of product, Directors, and VPs, the PLwheel can help you structure your conversations and take the guesswork out of guiding their professional development.
If your clients are asking for help hiring or onboarding new product leaders, you can use the PLwheel to write job descriptions, consider how you’ll assess candidates, and create a plan for defining early success in the role.
Why organizations need the PLwheel
It’s surprisingly rare for companies to have a shared understanding of what strong product leadership looks like. If your clients are navigating a major change (and let’s be honest—who isn’t these days?) like digital transformation, scaling their product org, or rethinking their leadership development strategy, the PLwheel brings consistency, alignment, and momentum to these conversations.
Why COACHES need the PLwheel
You’re running your own business, which means you already have a lot on your plate. There’s lining up new clients, invoicing, building your personal brand, and, of course, being an actual coach to your existing clients.
Do you really want to spend whatever free time you have designing new frameworks? If the answer to that question is yes, then by all means go ahead! But if you’d rather skip all the effort that goes into research and development, the PLwheel is ready to put into practice right away. I designed the PLwheel based on my 10+ years as a product coach and it’s already been user tested by dozens of product leaders.
How it works:
You’ll start by doing PLwheel onboarding and training with me. Similar to other frameworks like Gallup’s StrengthsFinder, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), or the DISC assessment, there’s an onboarding phase to familiarize you with the PLwheel, its use cases, and how you might integrate it into your coaching practice. You’ll also receive 5 PLwheel seats to use with your clients.
After your initial onboarding, once you are comfortable using the wheel, you’ll pay a small licensing fee per seat/coachee.
