Where I'm Heading - How My Offer Is Changing

In my time as a product coach, I’ve seen countless changes within our industry and ways of working—I don’t think I need to list them all here, but let’s just say that there have been many waves of disruption and transformation over the past decade.

What’s staying the same

Despite all this change, I am continuing to offer many of the same core services. You can still come to me for:

  • 1:1 and group coaching for product leaders. Individualized coaching with Heads of Product, CPOs, and product team leads is still the heart of my work. I also offer group coaching and multi-month programs that can make a broader impact across your entire product leadership team. What my clients are saying: “What I love about Petra's approach is that she does not teach customers one methodology, she teaches the product mindset and methods/techniques tailored to the individual product situation. There is no "one fit all" with Petra.” – Alicja Marcyniuk, Digital Transformation Consultant, Maersk

  • Talks and workshops. I continue to deliver on-site and remote talks and workshops, including Q&As and AMAs inside companies. What my clients are saying: “Petra is also very quick to understand the different contexts, and fully adjust her advice—which is a rare skill. If your team has specific problems to solve, the Q&A format is where Petra truly shines.” – Afonso Malo Franco, VP at Laerdal Medical | Host, Scandinavian Product Podcast

  • Professional development for product leaders: Ever since publishing my book, STRONG Product People, the majority of my work has been dedicated to helping product leaders hone their craft, and I’ve continued to expand on different ways of achieving this, which include my email course, From STRONG to Exceptional, and the PLwheel framework. Let’s take a closer look at each one:

    • From STRONG to Exceptional is my 52-week email course for product leaders. Think of it like a “product gym.” I help you get the reps you need week after week so you build good habits and transform your approach to leadership in a way that fits into your busy schedule—plus you get quarterly live calls so you can get to know your peers and create a system of accountability. What my clients are saying: “The Strong Leadership Course was exactly what I hoped for: structured, succinct, and full of high-impact content. Petra’s deep experience in product leadership, combined with her personal insights, made each email feel both actionable and reflective. She strikes a rare balance, encouraging you to challenge yourself, while also reminding you that meaningful progress often comes from small, consistent steps.” – Alexander Gijsbers, Head of Product at DPD Nederland

    • The PLwheel framework offers a structured way of assessing and developing product leaders—it gives you a consistent format so you can set goals specific to your product leadership skills and observe how you’re progressing toward them. It’s available for individual product leaders as well as for teams such as HR or Learning & Development. What my clients are saying: “As we continue building the capabilities needed to realize our digital ambitions, strong product leadership is key. The PLwheel outlines the core pillars of product leadership, highlighting the mindsets and skills needed to lead effectively. If you’re looking for a shared language around product leadership, and practical guidance to turn theory into impactful development initiatives—this is an excellent place to start.” – Natalia Dornonville de la Cour, Digital Capability Lead, Novo Nordisk

  • The All Things Product podcast with Teresa Torres. Every week, you get our unfiltered takes on hot topics in product, from exploring the “product builder” myth to exploring why organizational change is so exhausting.

  • Co-organizing and hosting the Product at Heart main conference and Leadership Event. These annual events in Hamburg bring together a community of curious product leaders and practitioners to openly share their toughest challenges and proudest accomplishments. What attendees are saying: "As product leaders, we are often the ones on stage. We share frameworks, lessons learned, battle scars, and sometimes even polished success stories. But we rarely find the right events to put ourselves in the seat of a learner. This time was different - the Product at Heart team made a deliberate choice: quality over noise, learning over selling, substance over performance. No one was chasing the spotlight, people were chasing growth." – Dorra Mlouhi
